These tours immerse travellers in the stages involved in transforming this micro-algae (where spirulina comes from, climate and environmental adaptation, growing spirulina, harvesting and drying it, uses) There is a shop if you would like to buy some spirulina. 2 types of tours are available: - Classic tours every Saturday: 1 hour tour (tour of the site and explanation about all the stages involved in transforming spirulina). Departures at 9am and 10.30am. - Spirulina and its myriad benefits: Tours every Tuesday and Thursday: 90 minute tour (tour of the site and explanation about all the stages involved in transforming spirulina followed by a participatory tasting workshop). Departure at 9am. Tour guaranteed with a minimum of 4 people. Tours with a more scientific focus can be arranged. On request.
From the Sainte-Marie expressway, take the Beauséjour - La Ressource - Sainte-Marie centre exit, drive for 2km towards the mountains (with your back to the sea), then at the roundabout, turn left at the third exit towards Terrain Elisa. Drive for 20 minutes and turn right into the sugar cane track by the “Livraison Village” sign.
